Illustrating a map to bring a campus to life.
St. Hilda’s Anglican School For Girls is a renowned private school located in the beautiful location of Perth, Australian. Boasting a luscious, sprawling campus, they were looking for a bespoke map illustration to give perspective families a taste of life on the grounds. I designed an inviting illustration that showcases unique features of the campus to create a welcoming visual element for the school to use.
Highlighting the personality of a place.
The process began by communicating with the school about which unique features and buildings needed to be focused on. I developed a rough sketch to ensure that the map captures all the necessary elements of the campus. Then I brought in color and texture, giving the viewer a sense of the feel of the campus grounds.
