I was commissioned by Santa Monica Tourism to create a custom illustrated map that emphasized key partners in the 7 neighborhoods of Santa Monica. The project began by sketching out the layout of the neighborhoods and individual renderings of highlighted locations. Then I added a soft watercolor and ink style, with coloring to bring everything to life. The final result is a map showing the unique features that populate the historic Santa Monica waterfront.
