About The Guest:

Penny has been with Independent School Management (ISM) since 2010, bringing deep experience in marketing communications, enrollment management, and advancement. She co-leads ISM’s Advancement Academy, facilitates workshops and webinars, and has consulted with more than 100 schools throughout the world. Her independent school career began at Ravenscroft School (NC), where she managed the Annual Fund before helping to establish the school’s communications program. She later served as Director of Admissions & Marketing at Academy at the Lakes (FL), where she helped the school reach record application and enrollment numbers. In addition to her professional roles, Penny has served on the Ravenscroft Board of Trustees, including as Vice Chair and Chair of the Audit and Advancement Committees. She holds a B.A. in Journalism from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Digital Marketing Certificate from the University of Vermont.
